Quick! Busy! Go!

One of those day when I’m busy like crazy and I don’t want to skip posting.

First I have Weight Watchers early.  Not sure what my result will be this week after all of my issues with the Biscoff.  But the good news is…it’s gone…it can’t hurt me anymore.  I have to look at that as a positive thing! 😉

Then I’ll be spending my day at the Rummage Sale at my sister’s church.  We always have a good time at the Rummage and I usually come up with a treasure or two.

This has seemed like a disjointed week to me and I need to get myself focused again. I know you’ve all heard that before.

I’ve got to get back to my projects.  I’ve been getting little bits of things done, but nothing that’s actually Noticable.  Got to get back on track with that.

I’m additionally frustrated because I’m really getting into the book I’m reading.

The Shadow of the Wind (El cementerio de los libros olvidados, #1)

This is so fascinating and well written. I just want to read all day!  Maybe tomorrow.

So that’s it for today.  I said it was quick. But I didn’t want to skip posting.

I’ll be back with a little more substance tomorrow!

Happy Saturday!

  1. I hope you have a great and not too stressful weekend! Hopefully everything will work out at your weight watchers meeting, too. 🙂
Haha, I’ve been loving dark chocolate as a sweet night time snack. It’s almost gone, though! 😛

Have a great time at the Rummage Sale at your sisters church! I hope you find a few nice treasures. 🙂

  2. i’m glad you made time for blog posting, fran!! it’s just fun to see what you’re up to today.
maybe you will get an expected window for some reading??
have fun at the rummage sale. think twice before you buy any more books, ok?! haha!
we’ve got beautiful sunshine here. i think it’s going to be a great sales day at the store!

    • Thanks, Cathy! We didn’t do as well as we have in the past at the sale, but we plug along every month. Soon as I finish here, it’s me and my Book! Still damp and nasty weather. Think I need a cup of tea with that book!

  3. I’m glad you were able to post. I look forward to your blog each day!

It sounds like you have a busy weekend. I hope it’s a good one. Let us know what you find at the rummage sale.

  4. Have a wonderful weekend.

  5. I love when you say, “it’s gone now. it can’t hurt me anymore.” I’ve heard it before. and it really is the best way to find a positive from it! haha.

however, you are not allowed to be frustrated because you found a book you like! it’s been so long for us! savor them whenever they hook you. :p it’s an indulgence. and after all, I’m big on indulging.

p.s. I blogged from Mexico! at least I know it happened one time, even if I’m just too overcome with relaxation to do it again. 😀

    • Glad you liked it, Sweetie! You’re right, it’s the only positive way of looking at it. Got your Twitters so I was hoping blogging would be right behind. Yes, I AM loving this book so far…hope it doesn’t disappoint! HAVE FUN!!

  6. I’ve had days like that. Just want to read! Or write! We have company right now, and I miss checking in w/ my new blogger friends! Hope the rummage sale is a huge success!

  7. Saw that you were reading Shadow of the Wind on Goodreads–I absolutely love this book! Glad you’re enjoying it. I also read The Angel’s Game (same author), which is also fabulous and comes with my recommendation.

    • Allie, I found The Shadow of the Wind by coincidence at Goodwill! I’d never heard of it but I wasn’t rushing to read it. Then I saw several glowing recommendations for it and moved it up on the to read list. So glad I did. I’ll have to look for the other book. It’s the kind of book I’ll need to read again to get all of the nuances I think. But I’m loving it!
