Another Saturday…Another Snapshot! I love the friendly group of people who are part of the Saturday Snapshot link up. Always so supportive and friendly. Sponsored of course by Melinda at West Metro Mommy Reads, Saturday Snapshot is Great Fun!
Sadly, we’re back to the discussion of snow again. However. we were in the 50’s yesterday and expected to go there again for the next few days. I am actually catching glimpses of sidewalk and some brown stuff in my back yard which I can only guess is the Earth!! I’m getting pretty excited.
I wanted to share a photo of a sunrise I took a few days ago.
I specifically took the photo with the idea of blocking out the snow. I Was So tired of it. Some still worked its way in but for the most part it’s just sunrise. I’m so happy that the snow is on its way out! At least, I hope so. Maybe I’m being a little to optimistic. It’s got to be going away because if not I’m going to go out to have myself fitted for a stylish straight jacket!!
Be sure to check out all of the great photos over at West Metro Mommy Reads.
Happy Saturday Snapshot!!
Love photos of trees!!! They are so beautiful!
Thanks, and thanks for visiting!
My poor Texan son is shivering out this winter in Chicago. It doesn’t help that I keep sharing photos of people at the pool here at home, I suppose.
I can’t imagine being in Chicago this winter. It’s bad enough here in NJ. Have a great day, Deb!
Well, Fran. I’m not sure where you live, but I woke up this morning to snow. And it is still snowing. Yesterday there was not a trace of snow anywhere. Bah Humbug. I am so ready for Spring!
I’m in NJ and it’s been awful this winter. But the last few days have been warmer…Hooray!!
Beautiful pic! We were just hit with another 6 inches on Thursday overnight to Friday. YUCK.
Sheila, I’m sorry for you. We’re a little warmer at the moment and things are melting. So excited!
I never tire of pictures of sunrises or sunsets. I like how this one showcases the tree branches, like etchings. Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.
Thanks, Laurel. There was a beautiful sunset the other night that I completely missed. I’ll be more on the ball the next time. Thanks for visiting, Laurel, have a great day!
What a beautiful photo! I can definitely empathize. Winter has been too long this year.
Thanks, Arti! I can’t wait until Spring!!
Beautiful sunrise. I love the delicate pink color and the way the tree is silhouetted against it. I hope your snow is on the way out!
Thanks for visiting, Sandra. I liked this a lot. Have a great day!
Thanks for blocking out the snow and highlighting a beautiful sunrise. I am beyond tired of snow and haven’t seen the sidewalk in months. I shoveled some snow off the grass to clear an area around my bird feeders and was surprised the ground was still there!
It’s been warmer the last few days and yes, our back yard is still there! Thanks for visiting, Leslie and have a great day!
Your mural definitely needs to be a sunrise or a sunset.
I saw grass today Fran!!! Real, actual greenish grass. I even saw the first baby chives peeking out of one my garden pots. I’m getting excited.
I like that idea, Meghan. A sunrise or sunset mural. Yes!! The snow in our yard has been melting and yes, the Earth is still there beneath it!! Have a great day!
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Vicki and thanks for visiting!
Haven’t the sunrises and sunsets been spectacular over the course of the last couple weeks??? And the full moon has been gorgeous too!
Thanks for visiting, Susan! Yes, if we have to deal with snow and cold, at least we’re rewarded with great sunrises and sunsets! Have a great day!
I love this photo! The colorsthrough the trees are beautiful. I will ignore the snow just as I’m trying to ignore the mounds of plowed snow we still have in Cleveland. But to be honest, this is the amount we’re used to in a bad year, it’s everyone else who’s paying the piper this year!
Such pretty colours in your sunrise. I hope the snow ends for you soon.
Glad you like the photo, Louise and thanks for visiting. The last few days have warmed up and much of the snow has melted. HOWEVER…we’re supposed to get more snow on Tuesday. Ugh…Have a great day!
